Welcome to Gravel Grain
Hosted in Nueva Ecija, which is rightfully known as the gravel capital of the country, this event showcases the endless, unpaved dikes and irrigation roads that make for some of the finest riding surfaces anywhere.
Riders can choose between the 80 kilometre or 130 kilometre distances, both challenged by the heat, the challenging Amihan wind that comes every December, and a mix of smooth champagne gravel that can change—providing a true test of skill and spirit.
The event spans across six municipalities and features a 300-hectare rally farm and race village, which serves as the central hub for the festivities and post-race celebrations.
Two categories · One start
The same ground and the same start line. Different distances, same challenge.
The full granary loop. Rice dikes, irrigation roads, and long exposed straights. Navigation device required.
The same ground, without the full length. Push your pace against your age group.

Every year more of these roads get paved. Concrete is progress for the farms and the end of gravel riding for us enthusiasts. Gravel Grain exists to put a number on what the unpaved roads are worth — sports and eco tourism for Nueva Ecija, the gravel racing capital of the Philippines.
